Empowering women with practical skills is one of the most effective ways to strengthen families and communities. Recognizing this, PO “Fond baroi zindagii behtar” launched free stitching courses designed specifically for women from low-income and no-income households. What began as a small initiative has grown into one of the organization’s most impactful programs.
Creating Opportunities Through Skills
The stitching courses were created to give women the chance to learn a marketable skill—one that could lead to stable employment, financial independence, and greater confidence. More than 150 women successfully completed the program and received official certificates recognizing their new skills.
To ensure full accessibility, the organization provided free lunch and transportation, removing the financial barriers that often prevent women from participating in vocational training.
Success Beyond the Classroom
The impact of the program has exceeded all expectations. After graduating, nearly 90% of participants found employment in tailoring workshops, garment factories, or small sewing businesses. Many others chose to work independently from home, using their new skills to earn income while managing family responsibilities.
These women are now:
Contributing to their household income
Supporting their children’s education
Gaining confidence and independence
Building brighter futures with their own hands
A Program That Transforms Lives
The stitching courses are more than just training—they are a pathway to dignity, stability, and hope. By equipping women with valuable skills and supporting them throughout their learning journey, PO “Fond baroi zindagii behtar” is helping families break the cycle of poverty and empowering women to take charge of their future.
